FAST FACTS
The term “homeless” describes individuals or families who do not have a permanent or stable home. This can include people living on the streets, in shelters, or staying with relatives temporarily. It can be difficult for homeless students to feel accepted at school and by their peers, due to lack of resources, embarrassment, or cultural differences.
